Hello everyone,
Today marks a major milestone for Argonath RPG - 20 years since our founding in 2006.
Many of us have joined the community, went through school, universities, jobs, careers, and even started families of our own, and yet we are still here tied to this great community, with the belief and support to keep it going and bring a new era.
It’s been amazing to reconnect with players active in different times, sharing funny memories, drama, and crazy experiences created by you over the years. It’s these stories that continue to drive us to keep this platform alive, to revisit and share those precious times, and create more for returning and new-to-come members of the community.
Over two decades, Argonath has gone through multiple eras, platforms, and communities. What has remained constant is our commitment to our fun, flexible roleplay style and international player-driven world.
We ourselves have many friendships established over the years, keeping in touch online and meeting in-person with Argo players around the world – and this is not a unique experience. Many members joined with their friends, made new ones, and like us, are still in touch to this day – knowing that if you travel abroad there’s likely to be a friend nearby connected through Argonath RPG.

VC:MP
Vice City Multiplayer
We extend our utmost thanks to Kessu & Klaus, Argonath OG’s who have supported since the very beginning on 12th July 2006 and still engage regularly, keeping our founding Vice City community alive. Based on the original vision of founders Gandalf & Aragorn, they maintain an independent ecosystem of Vice City roleplayers.
From the same era, we are super thankful for Afterpwn (Brian), who has relentlessly maintained the Argonath infrastructure in the background, often without support or thanks, persevering as leadership changed.
The entire VC:MP team have been true pillars keeping Argonath alive through good times and bad over this long 20-year history.

SA:MP
San Andreas Multiplayer
Founded by the Rockstar Clan in 2007, the SA:MP era stands out as our biggest success. It created thousands of possibilities loved by thousands of players. So many contributors forever recorded in the 100,000+ entries of our Argonath Forums, which we will continue to host.
Much credit is given to Khm, KJones and countless others who tried to revitalise this leviathan community in recent years. The server remains live as a **Legacy server** for players seeking a nostalgic hit.

Liberty City Roleplay
Joining in 2011 IV:MP, led by Division Leader James Conway, took this server to a fully-fledged community. In 2017, the community welcomed [R*]Mac and [R*]Kawashty, who support as FiveM division leaders today. Another star, Bert, has been an incredible resource across multiple divisions.

FiveM & Beyond
Development has rocketed on our FiveM server over the past two months. We are building systems with GTA VI in mind, aligning with ROME (Rockstar Online Modding Engine) to avoid being locked into a single platform cycle.

Reflecting on the Journey
We send our final message of thanks to founding owners Aragorn, Gandalf, and Sauron, who created Argonath RPG, the vision, and the platform that connected us all. In recent years, the health of our founders has faced challenging times, and we have always sent our love and appreciation to them and their families.
We also appreciate [R*]Carbon for his continued support and communication, which allowed us owners to come to an agreement with the founders.
"Whilst we are not as active community as we were 20 years ago, we have still maintained that same level of community spirit and engagement."
Over the years there has been many members come and go but we have noticed a repeating theme in the attempt to pay your way to the top or attempt to take the community for yourself. We want to be extremely clear that Argonath is not for sale and we will always ensure that we are community-led.
We didn’t become ownership from the sidelines; we worked our way up from simple players at every stage. Being extreme veterans joining back in 2007, we understand what it takes to be a member of the community and we will strive each day to keep that alive.
Call for Alpha Testers
Development has rocketed. We now have a fully playable test environment with core gameplay systems in place, representing a shift from isolated features to a connected roleplay experience.
